With more than a decade of project experience, the company has built a practical foundation in solar project development, infrastructure delivery, asset upgrades, and battery energy storage integration.
Today, Greenpower Samoa’s key project portfolio includes 2.5MW solar capacity with 2MWh battery energy storage at Samoa Airport, 7.8MW solar capacity with 3MWh battery energy storage at Racecourse, and a newly signed 5MW solar and 2MWh battery storage project.
Together, these projects represent 15.3MW of solar generation capacity and 7MWh of battery energy storage, positioning Greenpower Samoa as a growing solar-plus-storage infrastructure platform supporting Samoa’s energy transition.
Our Story
Greenpower Samoa’s journey began with landmark solar developments in Samoa, including grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects at Samoa Airport and Racecourse.
Over the years, the company has continued to expand its renewable energy portfolio through project investment, solar infrastructure upgrades, and the integration of battery energy storage.
In 2024, Greenpower Samoa further strengthened its renewable energy portfolio through the acquisition and renovation of existing solar infrastructure, adding solar generation capacity together with battery energy storage.
In 2026, the company reached another major milestone by advancing a new solar and battery energy storage project agreement, supporting the next stage of Samoa’s clean energy infrastructure development.
Today, Greenpower Samoa is entering a new stage of growth, with continued focus on solar farm development, solar-plus-storage infrastructure, and long-term renewable energy partnerships in Samoa and the wider South Pacific.
