2014 – 2015

Samoa Airport Solar Project

Greenpower Samoa developed a 2.5MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic system at Samoa Airport, supporting renewable electricity generation at one of Samoa’s key infrastructure locations.

2015 – 2016

Racecourse Solar Project

Greenpower Samoa initiated a 3.3MW solar PV project at Racecourse, further expanding Samoa’s renewable energy capacity.

2024

Solar Infrastructure Upgrade

Greenpower Samoa expanded its renewable energy portfolio through the acquisition and renovation of an existing solar power station, adding 5MW of solar capacity together with battery energy storage.

2026

New 5MW Solar + BESS Project Agreement

Greenpower Samoa reached another major milestone by signing a new 5MW solar and battery energy storage project agreement with Samoa EPC, with the project expected to supply approximately 7.9 million kWh of electricity per year.
